When people ask me about my hobbies, I say pop music, computers and the internet with a wink. Apart from pop music, that's basically what this new blog will be about. As the name suggests, with a focus on SEO, especially technical SEO with a focus on Google. Other computer related topics will also be discussed. Artificial Intelligence, of course, which by 2023 had gone from buzzword to genuinely powerful tool.

But also content management systems will be discussed, especially WordPress and Statamic, because these are the two CMS I use. But also other technical stuff will find a place here, from big computers like servers to small computers like mobile phones, which I still use mostly to make phone calls. So Google's "mobile first" motto doesn't really apply to me, I'm a child of the 90s and find doing complicated things on a mobile phone exhausting.

Everything, except maybe SEO, is discussed at a fairly basic level because I am not a developer or a technician. However, I do have a lot of experience and one aim of this blog is to share some of that. I plan to keep the blog mostly in English, but there may be some German articles from time to time.

I'm looking forward to seeing the blog come to life in the coming weeks and months. Life here means articles for now, but of course I'm also looking forward to comments etc. So far so good, I wish all visitors of this blog and of course the rest of you a very good time and maybe I can help somebody with something.
